In today's competitive world, performance measurement of the supply chain is the key for effective supply chain management. The performance measurement can be utilized to describe and review the historical performance, as well as to set performance targets for the future. This paper aims to address the dearth of research in performance measurement systems and performance metrics of supply chain by reviewing the contemporary literature.
